What We Are — and What We Aren't
Fidelity Funding is a loan connection and comparison service for U.S. borrowers seeking personal loans between $500 and $5,000. We are not a lender: we never make credit decisions, set rates, or fund loans. One encrypted request on this site reaches a network of independent, state-licensed lenders; any lender interested in your file presents its own terms, and the decision to accept, compare, or decline remains entirely yours.
That distinction shapes everything else on this site. Because we don't hold your loan, our only product is the quality of the match and the honesty of the information around it — the guides, the calculator, the rate tables, and the plain-English glossary that make any offer auditable before it is signed.
Our Mission
The small-dollar personal loan market is fragmented and noisy: lenders differ by state, amount floors exclude small borrowers from mainstream pricing, and marketing language routinely outruns the fine print. Our mission is to absorb that noise — one request that prices the market, surrounded by content that tells the truth about costs, including when the right answer is not borrowing at all. Our emergency fund guide exists for exactly that reason.
How We Make Money
Lenders pay to participate in the network; borrowers never pay us anything. When a request results in a funded loan, the lender compensates Fidelity Funding for the referral. That compensation never changes the terms you are offered, and it never obligates you to accept anything. The full mechanics are published on our Advertiser & Lending Disclosure page — a document we keep deliberately prominent because transparency about the model is the foundation of trust in it.
The Standards Every Network Lender Meets
- Licensed in each state where it reviews requests, verifiable through state regulators.
- Written terms before commitment: APR, payment, schedule, and fees disclosed in a standard Truth in Lending format.
- No upfront fees of any kind — a fee demanded before funding is a scam marker, not a lender practice.
- Soft-pull matching: seeing your options never requires a hard credit inquiry.
How We Work, Day to Day
The visible product is the request form; the invisible one is maintenance. Rate tables get refreshed when the market moves, guides get real revisions with honest "last updated" dates, and borrower feedback — collected after funding and published on the reviews page with its critical themes intact — drives what gets fixed next. Roughly 41,000 customers have used the service; 1,640 have rated it, averaging 4.7 out of 5, and we publish the denominator because averages without context are marketing.
Contact and Accountability
Questions, corrections, and complaints reach a human through the contact page, by email at [email protected], or by phone at (888) 525-1706. Our mailing address is 7335 Summit Street, Suite 159, Lansing, MI 48933. If anything on this site contradicts your actual experience, we want to know — the content stays useful only as long as it stays true.
